Last Orders

Thank you!! As always I am completely blown away by your support. Here is my new song Last Orders.

I wrote it as a goodbye to one of my closest friends. He died in a paragliding accident a few years ago and I never got to say goodbye. So I wrote him this instead. I wish I could tell him how much his friendship meant to me.

He wasn’t a quiet to bed early type. He was the friend who had you doing tequila shots at 2am and who talked you into making terrible (often alcohol fulled) decisions. I never knew how he always turned up to work on time!!

I tried very hard not to make “Last Orders” a sad song. I wanted it to be the kind of song you’d sing badly, with your arm round a friend’s shoulder, arguing about what shots to get for last orders at the bar.

It’s a toast - from the pub, not the graveside. Because that’s where I want to remember him.
